Toronto Yoga Studio Reviews – Studio Z Yoga and Fitness

Another west end studio I had a chance to review this month is  Studio Z Yoga and Fitness

Studio Z  is new on the scene in the Jane and Annette area. I tried their Wednesday night restorative class and it was divine.

The space

From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and relaxed. I was greeted by the owner Zora Divic who showed me around. The studio room is smallish but that makes it more intimate. There were only a few people in the class so I had plenty of space to move freely. They haven’t been open for very long so the classes may get more full as time goes on.

The class and schedule

They offer restorative, hatha, ashtanga, power, mom and me and yin yoga classes. Check out the schedule here. It’s a nice mix so that you can incorporate a higher impact class as well as a deep restorative class into your weekly regime.

The teachers

The class I took was with a teacher named Mary. Apparently she is going on a short leave from teaching so she won’t be back for a few months. However if the other teachers are anything like her they will be wonderful. Mary was kind, patient and knew her stuff.

The location and prices

419 Jane St ( at Baby Point)

Single Class – $18.00

5 class pass – $80.00 /  10 class pass – $150.00

When I went they also had a $20 special for 10 days of unlimited classes for all new customers which is a great deal.

If you live in the area and are looking for a yoga studio that is  low key, inviting and has a good variety of classes you should check out Studio Z.
